Girish has worked and trained in various dental specialties and brings the wealth of his experience to the practice. He has a membership of The Faculty of Dentistry of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and is a Fellow of the Faculty of Dentistry of The Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland.
Girish is a Diplomate of ICOI, the world’s largest body of Oral Implantologists. This is awarded for meeting advanced requirements and for showing commitment to achieving high standards through continued training and education.
Apart from providing routine General Dentistry and Oral Surgery he manages anxious patients with simple and advanced techniques including intravenous sedation. He has a wide ranging experience in Oral Surgery and Implantology and works as an Associate Specialist in Oral Surgery for NHS Fife. Referrals from dentists for minor oral surgery, sedation and implants are accepted.
He is actively involved in training programmes in Oral Surgery and Implantology both independently and through NHS Education.He has formerly served as an examiner for The Royal College of Surgeons of England and The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow for various general and specialist exams. He is a mentor for Biohorizons UK and has mentored many dentists in implant dentistry.
Over the past 4 years he has conducted variety of courses both locally and internationally, Through Quest Implant Study group he aims to provide useful educational tool for colleagues in dentistry.
